A New Way to Enjoy Summer
We are offering summer camps to promote environmental education! Our half-day camp will teach and guide students through marine research projects. Open to ages 7- 12!

We encourage curious minds to build, solve, and innovate.
Our camps use hands-on learning, giving our campers the freedom to innovate their own solutions through real science.
Located in the Camachee Cove Marina –

4-day Camp Overview
On Day 1, we kick start camp by building new friendships, introducing campers to the wildlife around them and the ways we can be “Water Protectors”. Campers will learn about the animals that live in our bay and then we’ll head out on the water to look for wildlife!

For Day 2, we will learn all about water pollution and the ways that we can reduce, reuse, and recycle! On the boat, we will focus on the positive and negative effects that salinity and PH levels have on our ecosystem and the local wildlife. Be prepared for fun science experiments and hands-on activities!

On Day 3, we’ll start off by building our very own science equipment! Our campers will create different tools to test clarity and salinity of the water. We will also explore plankton under microscopes. All of the data collected will be sent to local, national and international scientific agencies.

On the final day, campers will have the opportunity to invent their own proto-type solutions to environmental issues that we explored throughout the week! At the end of the day, we will invite family to check out our finished products!
